missing metropolis reels discovered in buenos aires

GMT Jim sez, "The DW-World site reported today on the discovery in Buenos Aires of three long-missing reels of Fritz Lang's sci-fi classic, Metropolis. The reels include 20 to 25 minutes of additional footage that will be added to the existing prints pending restoration. A DVD of the version was brought to the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation in Wiesbaden, Germany, for analysis. 'The film can now be shown more or less as Lang originally intended
